So early voting started today here in Utah. I had big plans to go right away but alas I am feeling under the weather and decided to put it off. Later in my day I found myself at a department reception and my friend spies somebody with an "I voted early" sticker. And he's like "Hey! We should go vote!" So we hoofed it down to the Union top speed and actually had to wait in line! It was really heartwarming to see all twelve of the booths full, everyone fulfilling their civic duty. And it felt very awesome to touch the screen and check Barack Obama for President! It was a great moment that I will always remember. Today it really felt like my vote counted.
