I think, for myself, understanding that is enough. I've never really felt like I had a firm cut-out place in the world, never felt like I have a particularly strong orientation in any direction (or more like, I have strong orientations in about 20 directions), but in a sense, the belief that I can understand and I can communicate is enough for life. That's all I really feel I need to find some ground I can stand on. To be able to look into another person's eyes and see familiarity.

Life has a way of teaching us things in all areas of life... it's one of the most interesting things about living, to me. I don't think there are really spiritual or secular areas of life unless we purposely set them up that way and try to restrict them - anything can be either.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4451107997404938848.post-39729035852182504462010-03-24T12:30:12.373-04:002010-03-24T12:30:12.373-04:00I am similar in so many ways. There have also been...I am similar in so many ways. There have also been a million unexpected encounters that I've had that pretty much make me feel like I'm living the most authentic life I ever have before.Stellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05630323371719995793noreply@blogger.com
